What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underwriting Processor position at LoanMart?
WHO ARE WE: Wheels Financial Group, LLC d/b/a LoanMart has provided non-traditional lending solutions for over 20-years by helping people from all walks of life resolve their financial setbacks when other credit or financial options may not be available.
ABOUT THE POSITION: The Underwriting Team works directly with new and repeat loan applicants to efficiently guide them through the loan process. Underwriting is the front-line voice of the company, so superior customer service is a top priority.
Individuals with experience as a call center agent, customer service specialist, in phone sales, and as service support employees are a good fit for this position.
POSITION STRUCTURE
- HYBRID SCHEDULE: In-office on Tuesday and and Wednesday, after successful training period (estimated 1 to 2 months).
- SHIFT: The start time may fluctuate between a 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., Mon-Fri. Schedule will be announced at least one week in advance. Saturday shifts may be required periodically.
POSITION DUTIES
- Educate new/repeat customers and business partners about the loan process, while providing a high-quality, service-oriented experience.
- Conduct customer and third-party phone interviews to verify identity and acquire needed information or documents so that loan applications can move into the next funding stage.
- Review applications and documents to ensure requirements are met.
- Follow up on pending or missing information with the goal of completing/resolving missing information or hindrances.
- Document and communicate loan progress/statuses using multiple communication channels.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must have exceptional high-volume phone skills, with an emphasis on efficiency, speed, service, and accuracy.
- Previous Call Center or Customer Relations experience is desirable.
- Previous experience preparing direct loan documents is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Business-level bilingual abilities in Spanish is desirable.
