This local event marketing firm is looking for a socially conscious and energetic leader to help them bring their clients' brands and services directly to prospective donors. The Event Marketing role is an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain experience and develop their professional skills in the event marketing and brand management industry. The Event Marketing role is a hands-on, customer-facing role that will assist with the on-site logistics of a designated community-based event.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain valuable experience and learn new skills with a team of ambitious and growth-focused individuals. Every Event Marketing Assistant participates in continued, hands-on training opportunities (both here at our office and at the event). Training includes learning our marketing and promotional sales strategies, time management, client services, brand development, event management, HR & On-boarding, business development and more.
Event Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily on-site logistics an assigned community focused pop-up event
- Create immersive and engaging experiences for customers at community-based events to increase awareness and revenue for our clients
- Follow all event rules and guidelines
- Stay up to date on our client portfolio, community initiatives and fundraising goals.
- Participate in in person training at the office
- Maintain a clean and organized event space
- Learn all marketing and sales strategies
- Track and report all sales revenue
Event Marketing Assistant Preferred Skills & Experience:
- No experience is required, however some previous experience in a customer facing role is preferred
- Clear and confident verbal communication skills
- Experience in coaching, mentor or leadership is a plus
- Experience working with a group of peers
Event Marketing Assistant Requirements:
- Must be able to travel locally daily
- Must be local and able to start within 2-3 weeks
- Must be comfortable working with people
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,600.00 - $4,500.00 per month
