What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Local Roofing LLC?

Can we hear your smile? Are you an extrovert? The Receptionist will create an exceptional experience for customers or prospects by answering phone calls by the 2nd ring, addressing inquiries in a timely and professional way as well as setting up appointments for our sales team.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide consultation, support and information on product and services.
  • Sets up appointments for our sales team and customers through our CRM system
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments via data entry.
  • Makes follow up calls to our customers to ensure they are happy customers.
  • Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
  • Performs other office related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening, positivity and enthusiasm of brand.
  • Service-oriented.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer in office setting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
