The GM will have overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring the store follows company standards including product preparation, customer satisfaction, restaurant appearance, equipment upkeep, inventory management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer. Most importantly, the GM will be the representative of the company for this location. They must embody the right attitude and preserve our company principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed to ensure high quality production and high customer satisfaction
- Hire, train, develop, schedule and discipline all employees.
- Control costs by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
- Ensure all local and state health and safety codes, as well as company safety policies are followed as evidence by meeting health permit score goals.
- Maintains POS system including menu, pricing, inventory and daily cash in/out.
- Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.
- Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
- Cares for the restaurant as a whole and is willing to do what is needed to see it succeed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High-energy, positive individual who excels at motivating others
- Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, create, and interpret business documents, including financial statements
- Good computer skills, use of multiple POS inventory programs a must
- Must be able to stand on your feet for most of the day and the ability to occasionally lift heavy objects
- Must be willing to work 45 hours including some nights/weekends. Must have flexible schedule.```Duties```
