As an Ad Placement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless ad placements across our publications. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with sales representatives, utilizing cutting-edge layout technology, and meeting production deadlines. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a knack for creative problem-solving, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ad Placement: Efficiently place scheduled ads in both retail and classified sections of newspapers and other publications.
2. Workflow Management: Electronically transfer completed edition plans from layout to the editorial system, ensuring timely delivery.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor applications to guarantee that all ads are typeset-ready within specified deadlines.
4. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in ad production workflow and paper planning technology.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with the Production department to configure press settings and generate relevant reports.
6. Weekend Availability: Rotating weekend shift required for obits pagination coverage.
