Description:Provides reference and research information services using a variety of resources, including online databases, internet, periodicals, corporate materials, government documents.
Analyzes, organizes, packages, and presents research results.
Promotes Library services through presentations, training, and marketing campaigns.
Provides recommendations for collection development.
Assists with circulation and collection maintenance.
Work is performed in a professional office environment.
Work will be performed onsite for an interim period before transitioning to part-time telecommute.
Basic Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Library Science or Information Studies.
Knowledge and experience with these typical Library services: customer interaction, reference assistance, resource selection, material acquisition, circulation of resources, cataloging of materials, collection maintenance and document delivery.
Ability to communicate and interact professionally with employees at various organizational levels and professions.
Organizational skills.
Strong customer orientation.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Skills:
Experience conducting research using online databases.
Excellent marketing skills.
Experience working in a library.
Knowledge of government agencies / retrieval of Standards.
Detail-oriented.
