Description:Ready for a challenge at the speed of Hypersonics
Come join Lockheed's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon team. Our system will travel at Mach 5 (over a mile per second). Helping us create a system that goes that fast means overcoming several difficult physics and engineering challenges. You will be integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on a highly accelerated schedule to deliver a hypersonic operational prototype system to the Soldier. LRHW will be capable of flying at 5x the speed of sound and will provide a timely response to varying threat scenarios. If this intrigues you, come join our LRHW HW team. Lockheed Martin is looking for experienced hardware integration and test engineers that are familiar with launcher, and command and control, ground systems to support Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program, Hardware Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) in Huntsville AL.
Integration and Test Engineer will support the LRHW Hardware IPT Assembly, Integration and Checkout (AI&Co) HW Product Team. The Systems Engineering Integration & Test engineer will develop, and execute, integration and test plans and procedures through product acceptance and handoff to the next level of integration. Individual will work across hardware and program functional teams. team lead over all technicians, manufacturing engineers, and electrical assembly floor supervisor. Individual will report status weekly to HW AI&T Manager.

• Experienced in full Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, to include weapons system operations and integration, and their application to LRHW program.
• Establish, manage, and communicate expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
• Collaborate with government and customer representatives in support of critical daily operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities
• Lead and perform technical planning, hardware integration, validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems of systems capability

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge and/or experience with Hardware Engineering life cycle process for launcher and command and control systems
• Familiarity with DoD program support
• Demonstrated Project Management and/or leadership skills
• must have an active secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Large Weapon Systems Integration and Test Programs
• US Strategic Missile Weapon Systems
• Customer interaction and familiarity with the DoD Labs/Facilities
• Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, principles and tools
• Broad experience of Systems Engineering and Project Execution throughout the life cycle process and applicable tools
• Proposal preparation and negotiation
• Knowledge Earned Value Management (EVM) and demonstrated business insight
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems, and demonstrates the ability to train others in their application
• Missile or space segment design, assembly, integration, test and field experience with one or more subsystems or large systems
