Cyber System Security Engineer

The Lockheed Martin Cyber Resiliency Team is seeking a talented and motivated Cybersecurity Threat and Vulnerability Identification/Remediation Lead to work on the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications JEMINI program.

- Work within a virtual operating system environment primarily consisting of Linux and Windows Servers
- Work within a dedicated cyber team and across functional areas
- Support patching all devices using WSUS, YUM, and Ansible
- Validate patches through vulnerability scanning utilizing ACAS and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) that meet Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) requirements
- Tune and monitor environments utilizing Splunk
- Security hardening of RHEL, Windows, Cisco, and various other operating systems

This position requires an active DoD Final Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline

- Linux and Windows Operating System Knowledge

- DISA STIG knowledge

- Security Certification

- Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. This requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
- Security Vulnerability Scanning Experience (ACAS, Security Center or Nessus)

- Security Patching Experience (WSUS, YUM, or Ansible)

- Experience working with Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM)

- EMASS Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Salary : $71,400 - $136,800
