Description:The individual selected to fill this Human Resources Business Partner role will support the Finance and Business Operations organization in Grand Prairie, TX in all Human Resources initiatives. This position supports the Controller organization (1 VP and 3 Directors) as well as with the Integrated Air & Missile Defense and Precision Fires lines of business (4 Directors) to develop strategies and deliver HR initiatives and processes such as talent management, promotion planning, performance management, salary planning, rewards, and recognition to enable client groups to meet their business objectives. This position will work closely with their counterparts to coordinate and execute enterprise-wide organizational strategies.
Selected individual will also lead special projects which may include Talent Management/Development, Data Analytics, Staffing, Compensation/Benefits/Performance Management, Diversity/Inclusion, or HRIS.
Individual selected for this position must be an excellent communicator and a collaborative team player who shares knowledge and best practices to drive organizational efficiency and integration. They should be a self-starter with the ability to effectively influence and communicate, build strong relationships, and become a trusted advisor and change agent. Must possess in-depth HR functional knowledge and be able to demonstrate the ability to leverage subject matter experts from HR Centers of Expertise as well as other functions, proactively identify resources, analyze data, formulate actionable recommendations/options and/or propose effective solutions to drive HR and business initiatives to closure. This position also serves as a talent champion who supports leadership in identifying, developing, and retaining talent. This position will work closely with employees to confidentially address concerns and provide support to functional leadership to address employee relations and organizational issues. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
-Experience with HR systems, knowledge of HR policies and procedures
-Knowledge of HR disciplines, Employment and Labor laws, and understanding of basic HR philosophies
-Experience in employee relations and conducting investigations
-Ability to interact effectively with employees and leaders at all levels
-Excellent communication, coaching and relationship building skills
-Strong analytical skills including the use of Excel
-Ability to maintain a high sense of integrity, urgency and confidentiality
Desired Skills:
-Experience in functional HR such as Compensation, Labor Relations, Staffing, Diversity/Inclusion or HRIS
