Lockheed Martin is looking for a dedicated, creative, and forward thinking engineer be the Certified Product Engineer (CPE) of a complex RF payload. This role will be responsible for leading all aspects of the hardware design, development, integration, test, and verification activities including requirement development and flow-down, interface definition, ensuring design analyses show design closure, leading the design effort through multiple critical program milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR), developing test and verification plans, and successful execution of the test and verification activities to deliver a cutting-edge RF payload. Good communication skills are required for this high visibility position. This position is expected to necessitate domestic travel at approximately 25% time. Candidates must have bachelor's degree and 5 years practical experience or a master's degree with 3 years practical experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently hold a TS/SCI clearance and are willing to obtain and maintain a Special Access Clearance
• Experience designing and delivering space antennas, RF, and/or high speed digital hardware with demonstrated ability to communicate well with stakeholders both internal and external, including customers, management, and peers
• Experience defining technical plans and approaches to meet program goals
• Applying systems thinking approaches to understand design interdependencies (e.g. performance, thermal, structural) and resolve complex design trades
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
Desired Skills:
• Experience with designing and/or delivering phased array / ESA hardware
• Experience in leading technical development through product lifecycle phases (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, verification)
• Experience with failure investigations and resolutions
• Experience providing design oversight/guidance to external teams and/or companies
• Master's Degree or higher education in a relevant discipline

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $91,400 - $152,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
