eTech's Converged Sensor research & development team has an opportunity for a Model Based Systems Engineer with experience accelerating a digital environment. This role leads driving a digital thread from product design through manufacturing. The successful candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills to work in a diverse, dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Occasional travel is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Own digital engineering strategy
- Establish single-source of truth digital model
- Implement digital engineering capabilities and solutions
- Realize a digital thread environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
-Typical experience is six years of professional engineering experience
- Experience utilizing model based tools
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience analyzing requirements and systems designs using model based engineering tools
- Previous work with product lifecycle management tools
- Familiarity with product hardware design tools
- Experience working with products from design through manufacturing stages
