As a
Senior Aeronautical Engineer
, you will:
• Design, Develop and Test the next generation of Reentry Vehicle Systems
• Perform aerodynamic analyses of complex reentry bodies
• Conduct ground testing including wind tunnel tests to validate models
• Analyze flight test data to improve modeling capability

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or Higher in an appropriate Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience.
Technical background in aerodynamic analysis.
Ability to lead and perform in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
US citizen and must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor Degree or Higher in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering
Familiarity with Air Force and/or Navy customer base and related programs.
Technical background in missile/reentry aerodynamic analysis.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience, including mesh generation, turbulence modeling, reacting flows and post processing analysis.
Experience with wind tunnel testing and data reduction, model supplier and test facility coordination.
Experience with flight test data reduction.
Current SECRET or higher security clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
