As the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program Specialty Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead a group of technical professionals performing Reliability, EMI/EMC/E3, Human Factors, EEE Parts, and Materials and Processes Engineering tasks for the CPS program

• Deployed to the CPS SEIT group

• Coach and oversee group and individual development using technical leadership and performance management

• Present appropriate Specialty or Parts and Materials technical issues to Program Leadership on a regular basis

• Ensure efforts are effectively staffed and that personnel are fully engaged and committed to program success

• Maintain awareness, engagement and communication of critical issues and their reach across the CPS program

• Lead and execute strategic initiatives to improve cost, schedule, and technical performance

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience

• Previous experience in one or more specialty engineering discipline, specifically Electrical/ Electronic/ Electromechanical (EEE) Parts, Materials & Processes, reliability, human factors, and/or EMI/EMC engineering disciplines or previous experience working with these disciplines as a certified product engineer (CPE) or systems engineer.

• Experience guiding the successful resolution of technically complex issues by applying technical knowledge and leadership skills with a multidisciplinary team.

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in mentoring and supporting career development

• Leadership courses and/or self-study

• Experience working closely with government and subcontractor partners

• Experience in weapon system and/or missile development programs

• Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR

• Experience providing schedule, staffing, workload, metrics and technical issue briefings to leadership

• Ability to balance cost, schedule and risk in decision making

• Project Management experience

• Familiar with using business tools and systems for configuration management and quality control (e.g. SAP, EPDM, PMPDB, LIMS)

• Active Secret clearance
