Description:The Lockheed Martin Space Human Resources team provides strategic human capital support that aligns with the key priorities of the business.
The HRBP will be an integral champion of Lockheed Martin's culture and values; partnering with our business leaders on strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will consult with leadership, employees, and cross-functional groups to solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of the client's leadership team.
The successful HR Business Partner candidate will excel at partnering closely with other HRBPs to ensure the functional strategy is supported across the line of business.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the successful execution of all HR initiatives
- Providing HR support in the areas of development & coaching, performance management, workplace investigations, developing and implementing talent assessment and development programs, and driving selection and retention strategies
- Influencing management decisions
- Delivering pro-active advice and counsel to leaders, while maintaining integrity with HR policy and practice and seeking creative solutions to problems
- Identifying and addressing employee relations issues promptly
This is a hands-on role, requiring skills in both tactical and strategic Human Resources. Success in the position requires a track record of excellent judgment, strategic thinking, influencing skills, and results orientation. Critical to this role are: the capability to gain the trust and respect of executive leadership and employees while pursuing positive organizational goals and objectives, and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with both HR business partners and Center of Excellence (COE) staff at multiple sites.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through part of lifecycle (design, develop, and/or implement).
• Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees and peers locally and virtually.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel including the ability to develop and analyze metrics.
• Ability to travel as needed in support of client requirements.
Desired Skills:
• Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Human Resources Business Partner or HR Functional Experience in areas such as Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Strategy, Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Labor Relations.
• Experience with Excel pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.
• Experience in Organizational Development, Leadership Coaching, Workforce Planning and Management, Compensation, and/or Project Management.
• Analytical skills and ability to present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership.
• Must demonstrate strong decision making and judgment, oral and written communication, business acumen skills.
• SHRM or PHR certification.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $61,900 - $103,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
