We are seeking a Stockroom Associate at our Courtland, AL site.

In this role you will:

• Performs Receiving and Inventory Control functions in support of production activities at Courtland Site.

• Validate system and document data to the physical material and counts and identify any discrepancies.

• Perform hand counting and use scales to ensure accuracy of counts.

• Carefully handles a variety of materials including ESD-sensitive components.

• Updates and maintains accurate receiving and inventory records in inventory systems to reflect material movements into and from the inventory stockrooms.

• Physically deliver materials kits to production/manufacturing, lab areas and between work centers as quickly and efficiently as possible.

• Expedite packages according to appropriate receiving party (R&I, Planners, Program overhead consumables).

• Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems with material and appropriate remedial action.

• Receive shipments of materials, and examining deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications.

• Use packaging and handling methods to protect material from damage.

• Operate various material handling equipment, including electronic scales, bag sealers, ESD workstations, forklift, pallet jacks, and carts to complete task.

• Work with good housekeeping habits to ensure work area safety to employees and hardware.


Work Schedule for this role is working Thursday through Sunday second shift, 4:30 pm to 2:30 am.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-3 years of prior stockroom and material kitting experiences
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to operate a computer and learn to execute required transactions in an inventory management system
• Ability to learn the process steps of each of the job function task(s) and complete required training
• Capable of repetitive lifting of packages to OSHA Guidelines, with no physical restrictions
• Must be United States Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a United States Government Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Familiar with ERP/SAP and ASRS Inventory
Management Systems
• Familiar with Commercial Carrier Shipping Systems (UPS, FEDX)
• Forklift Certification
• Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Foreign Object Debris (FOD) requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to cross-train in other job functions
• Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and/or with a team
• Highly accurate workmanship and great attention to detail skills
