What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant for Opening Fairfield by Marriott position at Lodging Dynamics?
JOB OVERVIEW: Greet and serve the guests according to Marriott standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
- Answer any guest questions about the menu.
- Check food before serving it to guests to ascertain that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
- Operating an industrial dishwasher
- Helping clean up any broken dishes and any spills
- Properly cleaning dishes and storing
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Performing opening and closing duties
- Performing cleaning projects and side work
- Sweep, mop and scrub floors
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. General knowledge of food and food preparation techniques.
