Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the success of our store. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, particularly in technology sales, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Assist customers in selecting products and answering questions about features and benefits
- Utilize product knowledge to drive sales and promote upselling opportunities
- Operate cash register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Meet or exceed sales targets, as well as other performance metrics
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
- Stay up-to-date on new products and promotions to effectively communicate to customers
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately manage inventory and handle cash handling responsibilities

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in wireless or technology sales
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with retail math and cash handling procedures
- Ability to stock shelves and maintain a clean store environment
- Bilingual skills are an asset, but not required
- Experience working in a grocery store or retail setting is preferred
- Strong technical sales skills, with a focus on technology and its applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
