Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor to be part of our team as we expand our portfolio. Our newest addition will be a downtown Minneapolis, full-service, $15M revenue property with a global brand affiliation. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service to our guest during the overnight hours, posting and balancing payments, settling credit cards each day, and completing reports for management. The Night Auditor is also responsible for maintaining files and resetting the systems daily for the next day of operations.

What you will be doing:
- Providing excellent guest service to our guest during the overnight hours
- Posting and balancing payments
- Settling credit cards each day
- Maintaining files and resetting the systems daily for the next day of operations
- Ensure that any issues from the day are corrected before processing the audit.
- Run all night audit functions consistent with closing out all daily transactions and preparing for the following day's operations.
- Provide next day reports for the front office, housekeeping, sales, and GM as requested.
- Act as the first point of contact for any overnight guest issues.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a front desk and/ or accounting position is preferred.
- Must be available to work the overnight shift.
- Knowledge of front desk operations and procedures, guest services and hotel services.
- Ability to work independently and desire to participate as part of a team.
- Possess proficient computer skills including proficient knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
- Possess high school graduate level mathematical aptitude and demonstrate standard cash handling procedures and knowledge of computerized cash register systems.
- Possess complete knowledge of emergency procedures of the hotel.
- Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
