Job Description:
- Manage, train, and coach a team of sales associates, sales managers, and warehouse associates in a commission-based sales environment.
- Set energizing sales goals and create a positive team atmosphere.
- Perform transactions in our sales and inventory system, complete customer orders, process refunds, and take payments.
- Greet clients, answer phones, and respond to various emails.
- Assist with daily opening and/or closing procedures for the store.
- Perform a daily review of open invoices and schedule delivery dates for customers.
- Demonstrate effective de-escalation tactics when working with angry or dissatisfied customers.
- Maintain excellent appearance of the showroom and all store facilities.
- Tag furniture, write service orders, check inventory, and assist with assemblies.
- Keep all employees informed on changes from the HQ, General Manager of Sales, and Regional General Managers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills professional sales presentation and a strong understanding of management practices.
- Able to read product and transaction information.
- Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment background check and drug check.
- Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
