Job Description

As a Database Architect, you’ll work closely with a high-velocity team, providing thought leadership from Day One. You’ll provide deep technical expertise and architectural leadership to help create awesome experiences for users, business owners, and developers working with database. The Logic20/20 Advanced Analytics team is where skilled professionals in data engineering, data science, and visual analytics join forces to build simple solutions for complex data problems. About you 

  • You’re passionate about enabling teams to work with data effectively, efficiently, and intuitively.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders, lead engineers, solution architects, product managers, and analysts, you can design solutions through the full lifecycle, from conception to production. 
  • You’re equally comfortable discussing technical things with businesspeople and business things with technical people.
  • You can collaborate with consulting and sales representatives to identify opportunities, develop, and pitch solutions based on a business case, and work closely with clients to generate business. 
  • You’re adaptable to frequent change and comfortable making decisions with limited information in dynamic situations. 

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience 
  • Experience in reviewing, refining, and extending relational database schemas to improve efficiency and data integrity. 
  • Experience writing PL-SQL scripts to migrate schema modifications while maintaining data integrity. 
  • Experience designing and leading ETL processes related to ingesting external data updates in batches and migrating existing data from legacy and external sources. 
  • Experience working with DevOps and Developers to create reusable scripts for use with Terraform. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with PostgreSQL on AWS. 
  • Experience with RDBMS
  • Knowledge of Data Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using Terraform. 
  • Familiarity with data migration using PrismaORM. 
  • Experience working as a consultant or working within the Utilities industry.

 

Additional Information

California State base compensation range: $150,000 - 175,000, DOE.
