Logoplaste is currently seeking to hire a Parts Clerk, to join the plant team in Inwood, WV.
The Parts Clerk is responsible for all aspects of inventory of machine parts, inventory and control of purchases.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets up and runs production molds
- Maintain adequate and organized inventory of machine parts used by technicians for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance services.
- Ensure all parts are being scanned out
- Maintain current inventory through SAP and by returning warranty parts for credit and utilize national accounts for purchases; prepares purchase request.
- Perform routine cycle counts to ensure stock levels are being maintained.
- Checks all incoming purchases against invoices; stocks supplies in appropriate locations.
- Maintain records for Machinery, Vendors and OEM Suppliers
- Keeps a general inventory of parts in stock.
- Assist in controlling and reducing spare parts cost through non OEM suppliers and parts procurement alternatives
- Assist with Spare parts management system using SAP
- Assist with preventive maintenance program using SAP
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP practices and Global Food Safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Background and Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- SAP inventory management experience
- SAP Maintenance experience
- Industrial Maintenance experience is preferred
- Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational skills
