Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned accountant or CPA who holds a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification. If you are working toward obtaining these credentials, we are committed to supporting your professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client meetings and prepare tax returns during tax season.
  • Assist in preparing and conducting annual financial review meetings to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
  • Maintain client databases in Redtail.
  • Prepare account paperwork for our Broker-Dealer (LPL Financial).
  • Provide accounting services for business clients.
  • Perform cash flow analyses using eMoney.
  • Complete personal, trust, and corporate income tax returns.


Role Highlights:

  • Primarily a technical role with no sales responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with a small, family-owned office to make a significant impact on our clients' financial well-being.
  • Work closely with a 25-year CPA/PFS veteran, offering valuable mentorship.
  • Strong potential for partnership within five years.


Qualifications:

  • CPA designation with experience in accounting and financial planning.
  • PFS or CFP certification (or in the process of obtaining these designations).
  • Proficiency in tax return preparation and financial review processes.
  • Experience with Redtail, LPL Financial, and eMoney is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
