Someone who genuinely loves the rush of moving startups to success, feels fluid and confident talking about cloud architecture, and fits the proactive, positive culture that we’ve built here at Loka. Responsibilities
- Partner up with our most valuable prospects to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services
- Engage with prospects to help them solve business challenges such as releasing products/services to the market or building a cost-optimized application
- Help prospects understand and implement advanced cloud-based solutions
- Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, sales meetings, company introductions, and presentations, proposals, negotiations, and account management)
- Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Understand the prospect’s business environment and communicate our value proposition
- Maintain current sales performance coaching software industry and product knowledge
- Perform incisive and insightful market research to generate new business opportunities
- Organize, update, and keep sales records
- Maintain data in our internal sales systems and manage other data dashboards
- Support the stakeholders with data, assets, and resources
- Manage project management tasks for different Sales initiatives
- Make sure all sales processes are running smoothly
Requirements
- [Must have] 5 years of experience in sales roles for technical products or services (software and/or cloud infrastructure preferred)
- [Must have] Native English fluency and US-based
- [Must have] Strong organizational and communication skills
- [Must have] Strong interpersonal skills and customer obsession
- [Strongly preferred] Experience with Amazon Web Services and understanding of core AWS Services
- [Strongly preferred] Solid understanding of data infrastructure, machine learning, and/or cloud architectures
- High analytical and problem-solving skills and a high aptitude for learning quickly
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines, be flexible and adapt to changes in environment and priorities
- The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
