We are a reputable law firm specializing in foreclosure litigation, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foreclosure Litigation Paralegal to join our team.
Salary: Up to $85,000 DOE
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure processes. While we prefer candidates with foreclosure litigation experience, we are also open to legal assistants with foreclosure backgrounds who are eager to learn the litigation side. Candidates with only litigation experience may be considered, though this is not the preferred background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of foreclosure litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for ongoing cases.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
- Support attorneys during trial preparation and attend court hearings as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is a plus.
- Experience in foreclosure processes is essential.
- Prior experience as a legal assistant in a foreclosure capacity will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
