Overview: London Jewelers is a premier jewelry business, family owned and operated for over 90 years. We continue to set the standard for quality and service in providing customers with the finest selection of diamonds, designer jewelry, fine timepieces and gifts, presented in a luxurious style and setting with superior customer service. We are looking for a Store Administrator to work in our fine jewelry boutique at The Americana in Manhasset, NY.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Control – Receives and transfers merchandise internally; sends products back to vendors as necessary; identifies, analyzes and solves inventory issues.
POS procedures – In depth understanding of the POS system and able to assist management and sales associates with transactions.
Administrative – Data entry, prepares reports for management and corporate; audits all receipts before sending to corporate; researches customer/product information through various systems.
Qualifications/Experience:
Must be detail oriented with strong customer service aptitude.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Must take a pro active approach to tasks and projects.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Self starter with team player approach, working effectively with sales professionals, management, corporate team and vendors to drive store sales and service.
Knowledge of watches and jewelry preferred. Prior administrative experience in luxury retail or hospitality environment.
Flexible schedule with availability to work retail hours, including weekends and some holidays.
