Long Term Care Facility is seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources’ primary function is to coordinate HR policies and procedures and ensuring that the organization is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations aligned to meet the organization's goals and mission. In addition, the position works closely with the administrator in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing HR programs, functions, and activities, including talent acquisition, retention, employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining a positive work-environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages payroll and benefits for employees
- Manages timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Manages onboarding, offboarding, and HR-related record-keeping and compliance.
- Coordinates facility recruiting and hiring efforts.
- Ensures compliance with employment safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Assists with the safety efforts and acts as co-chair for the safety committee.
- Prepares and submits any required corporate reports for federal or state agencies.
- Drafts and distributes company communications to employees as requested.
- Supports the implementation of company initiatives to drive a high-performance culture.
- Builds credibility and trust to create an environment where employees feel safe and able to openly communicate their concerns and issues
