GBP £45,000.00/Yr.

Overview

Braintree Ford

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £45,000 OTE (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission) 

Working hours: (44) between Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, Saturday 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 16:00 on a rota basis, including one day off midweek every week

Previous automotive experience would be advantageous but not essential for this role, all we ask is that you're willing to get stuck in and learn the products inside and out. Full support and training will be provided, with access to Lookers sales process training from Day 1 of your journey with us. Not to mention, access to our Ford dealer portal for any Brand training required.

You will be the key point of contact for our customers, communicating via email, phone and in person. Attention to detail and flawless administration skills will help you succeed in closing the deal. You may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious vehicles on the market, therefore a full UK driving licence is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person
  • Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
  • Liaising with various departments within the dealership to provide the best service to all our customers

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to crack on with the job and be passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.

Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the look out for new/fresh talent to join our team. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
