We are looking for a motivated Sheet Metal Programmer individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
● Review customer drawings and models for manufacturability issues and errors.
● Create and inspect flat-pattern layouts from solid models, customer prints using
Solid works.
● Make detailed forming drawings when required for operators in the shop.
Experience:
● 5 years of experience AP100US
● Strong SolidWorks skills
● Ability to add tab & keys to assemblies
● Basic understanding of metal manufacturing world included but not limited to
punching, lasering, forming, welding, machining and assembling
● Amada AP100
● Reading and understanding blueprints along with bend calculations (K-factor,
bend allowance, bend deduction) a must
● Able to translate to customers’ models and drawings into what our shop needs to
produce high quality parts
● Collaborative and inquisitive mindset
● Strong teamwork, communication and people skills
