The Role
We are looking for a Product Consultant who will closely partner with the Investment, Relationship Management, and Sales teams to provide consistent product messaging both internally and externally.
We’ll trust you to:
- Develop a deep understanding of Lord Abbett investment products
- Develop a deep understanding of our approach to sustainable investing
- Participate in quarter-end processes, including the writing of commentaries, positioning bullet points, and market outlooks
- Develop and maintain descriptive product content used to respond to client inquiries.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on products and competitors
- Contribute to weekly asset class updates for broad dissemination
- Understand markets, products, and competitive landscape to support Relationship Management and Sales in preparation for due diligence meetings
- Train internal staff to increase awareness and understanding of investment products
- Participate in idea generation of product content to be included in marketing materials and review accuracy of product content throughout materials
You'll need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- CFA designation, or progression towards the CFA designation, preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing and quantitative skills
- Proactive approach to work assignments
- Strong analytical skills
- Interest in capital markets and investment products
- Interest in sustainability/ESG investing
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet stringent deadlines
