What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Director of Operations position at Lori Knapp Cares?
Lori Knapp Cares is seeking a leadership member to direct and assist in managing services in our Fond du Lac area group homes. The Director of Operations work in our group homes caring for adults with disabilities. We recently celebrated our 50thyear of service to Wisconsin communities.

Compensation:
- Base Pay: Depending on work experience
- Mileage Reimbursement, Referral Bonus
Duties Include:
- Acting, supervising, and coordinating care in a manner that ensures the health, safety, and well-being of clients within the home.
- Training, scheduling, and supervising a direct care team of 40-60 people.
- Directly Supervising: Regional Program Manager, Company RN, and Branch HR Manager
- Ensuring client appointments and medical attention is obtained to the best practices.
- Ensuring client care plans (ISPs) are accurate and staff are trained on said plans.
- Working with facilities RN to train and supervise staff on medication management related items.
- Maintain open communication with clients, guardians, care teams, and regional management.
- Planning, coordinating, and purchasing items for activity-based programing.
- Planning, coordinating, and purchasing items for cooking well-balanced meals.
- Ensuring regional programs including the office stay within approved budget.
- Ensuring quality performance through incident reviews, incident investigations, complaint follow through, disciplinary processes, and performance reviews.
- Ensuring the company mission and culture is communicated, presented, and encouraged throughout branch.
- Performing and filling in as a Direct Support Professional as needed to meet the staffing requirements of the home. This includes the ability to fill in on short notice and on all three shifts.
All Directors must have a willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, be respectful/compassionate, have good time management skills, outstanding communication skills, strong work ethic, organizational skills, scheduling experience, and the ability to operate within a budget.
