Lorien Mt. Airy is hiring nurses for their 7a-7p, 7p-7a, and 11p-7a shifts.

As a Charge Nurse, you will gather information on each resident's condition and will work with the nursing team to continuously evaluate their individual care plan. You will also oversee the staff of nursing assistants on your assigned shift and gather information from them concerning their observations of the residents and any changes in their conditions.
- Must possess an active nursing license in Maryland, or compact state, without restrictions
- Minimum 1 year Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience required
- Up to date CPR and First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of state & federal regulations that apply to our facility (including Medicare) and ability to maintain compliance.
- Knowledge of resident rights, documentation requirement for managing skilled care, and electronic medical record experience a plus

Lorien Mount Airy is located right off Interstate 70 in Carroll County, MD and within close proximity of Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery Counties. In fact, the Town of Mount Airy encompasses portions of all four counties! This makes for a quick and easy commute from many directions. Our facility includes assisted living, long-term care, and skilled nursing/sub-acute rehabilitations. We also have ventilator care with a respiratory therapist on-site.
