JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Branch Manager is responsible for providing courteous and efficient customer service in accordance with Security National Bank's philosophy, in addition to ensuring all team members are providing a superior customer experience. We are looking for a service-oriented professional immersed in the community and giving back, while promoting SNB, and driving business development initiatives. This position is responsible for learning the daily operations and branch process under the direct supervision of a current Branch Manager, so that at any potential or determined time they can step in and be prepared to lead.
- Leadership of the Retail Banking staff to execute business objectives and ensure all team members are providing superior customer experience.
- Management responsibilities to include scheduling, training, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
- Perform all Personal Banker duties such as selling multiple deposit and non-deposit accounts to new and existing customers.
- Explain features and benefits of the Bank’s services that may fill the client’s financial service needs. Maintain a firm knowledge of underwriting process, deposit, loan, convenience, and non-deposit services by studying product information sheets, bulletins, and updates and by attending periodic training sessions.
- Meet established branch and department sales performance standards. Take department goals and translate them into branch and employee specific SMART goals with guidance and direction from Branch Manager.
- Responsible for department growth, sales calls, cross sales, retention, referrals, and meeting established sales performance standards.
- Ensures all documents are accurate and complete and verifies the collectability of funds presented for deposit on all potential accounts.
- Makes appropriate consumer loan decisions within set lending limits.
- Monitor branch activity including: number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, product sales, and new accounts.
- Manage the security and safety of the branch. Analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4 year college degree or related work experience
- 2 years lending or previous sales experience
- 2 years management experience
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
- Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
