1. 10 yrs of SQL server experience and recent experience working in 2016/17
2. 5 yrs in SSIS package development, performance tuning and index creation
3. Experience in prod support to research & fix issues

Job Description:

Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the data and reporting applications through detailed analysis, efficient coding, writing clear documentation and identifying and resolving problems as they arise.
Develops efficient ETL framework and processes
Creating databases, migrating database objects from on-premises to cloud environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ability to troubleshoot and monitor daily execution and implement minor enhancements supporting a server that provisions data to and from various applications.
Solid verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently yet collaborate effectively with other team members.
Aptitude for creating scalable solutions with attention to risk and best practices.
Good understanding of data warehouse concepts including data marts and data lakes (on prem and cloud).
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the data and reporting applications through detailed analysis, efficient coding, writing clear documentation and identifying and resolving problems as they arise.
Designing and building data models, schemas, views, and tables to support application requirements.
Monitors and optimizes database performance and capacity planning.
Automates database alerts and health-checks with existing system notification tools
Measures database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, I/O bottlenecks, SQL Tuning, T-SQL.
Experience in scripting languages (shell or python or Perl) for automating DBA administrative tasks.
Experience with SSIS/SSRS.
Utilize Microsoft BI tools (MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2016/2018 and SSIS) to manage the design, development, and implementation of enhancements.
Plus: Azure, Synapse, DevOps, Database Modelling/Schemas.
