Job Overview:
The house manager is essential with coordinating all operations including staff supervision, directing staff training, provide and ensuring communication of medical and health issues to staff, nurses, families, etc. using appropriate logs when necessary. The house manager is to inform the Program Director of pertinent issues concerning staff and individuals occupying the residence. Characteristics that are beneficial to this position include an ongoing personality, being adaptable/flexible, a detailed-oriented perspective and ability to independently make rational decisions..
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all individuals medical, medications and health issues
· Monitor staff performance management, including evaluations and development plans, disciplinary actions, etc., for all program staff as scheduled.
· Supervise staff training and development through teaching, acting as role model and guiding staff on how to appropriately work with and interact with individuals, other staff, families, and guardians.
· Present and implement all residential DD waiver policies and procedures.
· Participate in the interviewing and hiring of new staff.
· Provide on-the-job training and orientation for new employees.
· Scheduling and taking clients to doctor appointments as needed which includes filling out medical consultation forms and communicating with administrator about the details of each appointment and future scheduled appointments.
· Check training, progress notes, and behavioral tracking sheets daily (initialing documentation).
Qualification:
· Must have an Associate’s Degree and/or three (3) years of leadership dealing with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other cognitive disabilities .
· Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record and insured vehicle.
· Must have an acceptable Tuberculosis Test/Screening is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per year
