Are you awesome at communication and web applications? Losey Insurance and Financial Services seeks to hire a part-time on-site Intake Specialist to support our team in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana branch office.
This position offers as few as 8 hours per week or up to 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate should be able to provide high-level, professional administrative support and be responsible for assisting with intake team objectives.
The candidate must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and support-related tasks and be able to work independently and accurately.
The candidate must also be well organized, flexible, and able to enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting the team.
This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with the practice team, clients, industry professionals, and partnering companies while remaining flexible, proactive, and resourceful The candidate must also possess a keen sense of confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Assist with client support and appointment scheduling
- Utilizing strong judgment in managing priorities of requests
- Must be able to work under deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment, remain cool under pressure
- Serve as a quality control point in inbound intake processes
- Organizing materials, managing takeaways, and follow-up
- Filing / organizing documents into the appropriate locations
Requirements
- 5 years experience in executive administrative support
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Initiative and responsibility, to anticipate needs and follow through
- Sound judgment knowing when to escalate an issue
- Strong organizational / administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, a college degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- An insurance license is not needed to apply
