About the Job:
- Part-Time Day Porter.
- Property Address: 1265 Laurel Tree Lane, Carlsbad Ca 92011 & 1500 Encinitas Blvd, Encinitas Ca 92024
- Schedule: Carlsbad Mon 7am-12pm / Wed 7am-10am / Fri 5am-12pm
Encinitas Sat 7am-3pm / Sun 7am-3pm (Tuesday & Friday OFF) (28 hours per week)
- Schedule: Carlsbad Mon 7am-12pm / Wed 7am-10am / Fri 5am-12pm
- Pay: $17.00 per hour.
- Weekly Pay
- Valid CA DL is required
- Must be able to work in Carlsbad and Encinitas,

Day Porter Qualifications:
Day Porter Qualifications:
- Janitorial experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Meet the physical requirements: constantly walking, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, reaching over the shoulder, lifting, and carrying.
- Constant weight – 1-35 lbs. Occasional weight – 36-50 lbs.
Day Porter General function:
- Pick up trash as needed and empty trash receptacles.
- Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning cobwebs, wiping down surfaces, restroom cleaning, etc.
- Clean exterior surfaces of windows, window sills, and doors.
- Remove and/or clean up any debris or soil such as stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, graffiti, etc.
- Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness.
- Notify the supervisor in case there is a need for repairs.
- Required to always wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task, which includes gloves, goggles, safety vest, and any other safety equipment that the task requires.
The Ideal Day Porter:
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Ability to complete the physical requirements of the job.
- Day porter/janitor/custodian experience preferred.
