What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gardener position at Lotus Technical?
Kraftman Gardens is hiring all skill levels of Gardeners to join our team. This position will be a part of developing beautiful gardens and containers for residential clients. We are looking for candidates that love to work outside with their hands, are detail oriented, and have excellent customer service. Knowledge and interest in plant materials (including houseplants, annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees) are beneficial. Kraftman Gardens offers a casual, open-door, and team-oriented atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planting, weeding, and soil amendment
- Watering, fertilizing, deadheading, and general tidying of gardens
- Mulching of garden beds
- Garden clean-ups, cut downs, and garden renovation
- Container design and installation
- Taking and executing direction from a supervisor
Additional Skills:
- Education and/or professional experience in gardening or horticulture helpful
- Be available to work summer and fall until the end of November.
- Certification from the Minnesota Landscape Association, Master Gardener certification, pesticide license, or other licenses and certifications are a plus but not required.
- Clean Driving record and driver's license, and the ability to drive a pickup
