Lotus Cars USA is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus products in the US region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Events Manager in the Marketing Department to join us in our US HQ based Texas.

The Events Manager will ensure a world-class experience for customers throughout a project’s lifecycle. This position will monitor and manage every phase of an event through effective communication and coordination with other functional areas of the Company. Requires an individual who thrives on variety and interfacing with vendors to demonstrate their ability to achieve excellent results. This role requires someone that is self-managed in time, reliability and dependable who will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing in the Americas operation.


Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan Lotus events to promote the brand.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate various graphics projects simultaneously demonstrating leadership, teamwork, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, innovation, and excellence.
  • Be flexible and conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines using analytical and problem-solving to anticipate obstacles and develop solutions.
  • Clearly define, lead, and communicate project objectives with the work group.
  • Deliver creative solutions to align to the Lotus brand/program standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors for estimates, detailed project plans and schedules tracking budget and costs.
  • Oversee quality control and participate in quality issue resolutions for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with team members to assess upcoming, current, and active projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to stay organized managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven account management experience with the ability to manage projects from conception to completion - prioritizing, multi-tasking, meeting expectations, budget, and timelines.
  • Strong experience presenting to all levels of management both written and verbally.
  • Maintain regular communication with all Lotus teams to understand their event needs, objectives, and expectations.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events for assignment ensuring that all details are taken care of, and the event meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Support, create and manage event timelines and schedules to ensure that all tasks and preparations are completed on time.
  • On-Site Management: oversee the on-site execution of event, including coordinating with event staff, internal and external contacts, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Be prepared to address unexpected challenges and find creative solutions to ensure the smooth
  • execution of events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Responsible for creating advertising campaigns, pricing, strategies and targeting demographic audiences.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach target audience.
  • Conduct market research/ analysis on customer needs, preferences, and trends.
  • Assist in outbound/ inbound marketing activities.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Required experience of Event Management
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success managing events and project from a cost, quality, and client services perspective.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/ marketing/hospitality
  • Ability to connect and engage with a variety of personalities working well in teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in graphics and/or a creative environment.
  • Event and/or marketing experience in automotive.

Additional Info:

  • This role will be working from our US HQ in Texas within our flexible working policy.
