LBS is currently looking for a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This position will be a remote, work-from-home position with the option of going to the office. The individual must be seated in the South Florida area and be connected to the community. The position will support our Infrastructure Asset Maintenance (IAM) Business focusing on projects in the South Florida area. This individual will also partner closely with internal stakeholders such as: business executives, Human Resources to include our Onboarding Concierge, Compensation, and LBS employees. This position is a key strategic role in the success of the LBS Talent Acquisition team and Infrastructure Asset Maintenance.
The Louis Berger Services (LBS) Talent Acquisition team consists of two functional areas: Recruiters (those who build relationships in the market and community, assess candidates for alignment and fit to the role and LBS, partner with the business to get the right candidates across the finish line and advise/partner with the business regarding market trends) and Recruiting Coordinators (those who support the Recruiters). The Talent Acquisition team is strategically focused in the following four areas:
- Engagement - To be engaged with the market and the LBS business
- Agility - To be agile and get out of the gate quickly as we stand up projects and grow
- Global - To be global and have our fingers on the pulse of international markets and have resources to help us identify candidates
- Quality - To focus on quality both internal (processes and delivery) and external (type of candidates we recruit and retaining those candidates)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle and high volume recruitment needs across IAM in South Florida
- Provide guidance, advice, training and support to Business Line Leaders and Hiring Managers relating to best practice recruitment processes and procedures
- Build relationships and have ‘boots on the ground’ in the South Florida community to include attending conferences, events and being involved in associations
- Create partnerships with local schools, community centers, employment offices, libraries, etc. where talent may exist
- Identify locations where talent is present and spend time engaging them and connecting them with LBS opportunities
- Create relationships and build a pipeline that we could quickly tap into
- Build a deep connection with the IAM Business to understand their pain points and what it will take to get the right candidates across the finish line
- Have an in-depth understanding of the LBS businesses and potential new projects in order to know what talent to keep top of mind, where to focus recruitment efforts, and to communicate our culture/values and what makes us different to garner candidate interest
- Have resources at your disposal to broaden your reach and connection with diverse populations
- Position yourself to be able to bring talent in when we have to quickly stand projects up
- Be engaged with the IAM industry in order to identify trends and shifts in the market
- Bring strong problem-solving capabilities when working on difficult-to-fill roles with the ability to think outside of the box
- Process improvement minded to offer new ideas
- Working with and providing support to other members of the team as required
Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 3 years recruiting experience building community relationships
- Proficient in core office programs (e.g., Microsoft Office products) and capable of learning role specific applications
- Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with tact
- High sense of urgency, ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Excellent proficiency in the use of Applicant Tracking Software; Taleo Preferred
- Excellent proficiency with sourcing technologies and platforms such as really, Zip Recruiter, MilitaryHire.com and LinkedIn
- Identifying opportunities to provide relevant and accurate reporting of recruitment activity and metrics
- Working knowledge of employment laws as they relate to the recruiting process, ensuring LBS’s compliance
- Ability to manage competing demands and accept constructive feedback while being extremely adaptable and flexible
- Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize own time and work independently
- Ensure compliance with company EEO, OFCCP, and Affirmative Action programs in the recruiting process, and continuously educate the business units on these programs and other outreach resourcing programs as appropriate
- Follow and adhere to the LBS Diversity sourcing initiatives and guidelines
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to LBS"s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by LBS"s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
