We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to join our team at Louis Swiss bakery in Aspen, Colorado. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of our wholesale delivery and cafe operations, oversee guest communications, and contribute to the smooth operation of our wholesale program.
This role is crucial in ensuring the satisfaction of our guests and, therefore, requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in delivery logistics, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage wholesale inquiries and customer communication through email, Mountain Stream, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Ensure a prompt response within 24 hours to all customer communications, manage the cafe team and service, and manage the team of drivers and wholesale logistics.
Wholesale Logistics :
- Organize drivers and delivery routes
- Manage customer service
- Ensure accuracy of all wholesale orders
- Aid accounts with Mountain Stream ordering and issues
Cafe Management :
- Oversee the barista and cashier team.
- Monitor quality of all beverages produced by the baristas
- Cleanliness and Stocking of the facility including cafe area, retailer fridge, garden and patio
- Coach and encourage team members to provide excellent guest service
Farmers Market :
Help staff and manage the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.
Wholesale Customer Onboarding and Training :
- Set up new accounts in Mountain Stream
- Training of new customers on Mountain Stream ordering procedures
- Account support and customer service for Wholesale accounts
Compensation and Benefits :
As Wholesale and Cafe supervisor you will receive an hourly rate in addition to being a part of the tip pool
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move between locations if necessary
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain composure under pressure.
Working Hours :
Typical hours will be 5 days a week with shifts beginning as early as 4am for deliveries
Reporting Structure :
- Report directly to the Executive Pastry Chef with Support from the Director of Operations
- Regularly interact with key teams and personnel across multiple departments, including kitchen staff, cafe team, bakers and management.
Onboarding and Training :
- The onboarding process includes a two-week training period with set milestones.
- Mountain Stream and Toast training
- Delivery driving, barista, and cashier training
Communication and Collaboration :
- Participate in regular meetings and cross-departmental projects.
- Regularly attend Tuesday's 2 p.m. Louis Swiss Swedish Hill Manager Meetings,
- Collaborate with various teams to improve processes and drive innovation.
Company Initiatives and Projects :
- Involvement in current and upcoming company initiatives and projects.
- Expected to contribute to process improvements and propose new initiatives.
- Opportunities for professional development and leading new projects are available.
