Marketing Intern

Marketing Internship - Plainville, CT

Intern/Co-Op will contribute to a fast-paced growing team in the Marketing department and will perform tasks independently while working closely with individual team members to ensure that objectives are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with updating marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, flyers.
• Asist with creating and updating internal/external graphics
• Prepare materials for proposal submissions
• Prepare materials for presentations or client meetings
• Support marketing team in daily administrative tasks

Education and Skills Required:

• A Junior, Senior or Graduate student majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism (or related field)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Highly organized and structured
• Logical and lateral thinker
• Strongly motivated to perform, learn and improve
• Proactively takes the initiative beyond the tasks assigned and is resourceful
• Team player, open-minded, possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Mature demeanor and positive attitude, as well as discretion and sensitivity when dealing with clients
• Willingness to commit to and align with company culture and values
