Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a growth oriented Sales Director to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing our new direct dealer program.

We are a 50 year old manufacturer of wood shutters and other window covering products expanding our sales channel into the window covering retail space. This is an opportunity to earn 200k or more if you can can make incremental increases to our business. Extensive travel is required for the first year and then 1/3 travel after.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a growth oriented Sales Director to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing our new direct dealer program.

Responsibilities:
- Determine the best initial contact method to gain interest.
- Implement strategic sales plans to drive company revenue at the retail level.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships for market expansion
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements with customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
-Hire, Train and Motivate additional sales resources.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and performance
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors

Requirements:
- Proven experience in driving incremental business growth
- Strong background in business development, outside sales, account management, and technical sales
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deals
- Proficiency using CRM software for relationship development.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
