ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an individual that is incredibly hard-working, highly motivated, organized, and efficient, adaptable, energetic, professional, collaborative, supportive, a great communicator, and with an overall great work ethic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and manage day-to-day full cycle accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing
• Manage payment run process. Ensure proper approval of disbursements and facilitate timely payment of vendor invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Follow up regularly with factors and vendors for monthly statement reconciliations
• Responsible for accurate coding of each invoice to the relevant GL accounts and cost centers.
• Maintain vendor records, including obtaining W-9s, W-8BENs, verify payment instructions.
• Set up and monitor utilities and other reoccurring charges.
• Actively engage in month end process: monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, reclass, expense coding, etc.
• Maintain Expense processing systems (Tallie/Concur), including system access, workflow maintenance and reporting
• Review T&E expenses to ensure it is within company policy limits

SKILLS, QUALITIES & BEHAVIOURS

• 5 years of accounts payable experience
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance
• Detail oriented & self-sufficient
• Excellent Excel skills is a must
