What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mgr-AR Governance and Compliance position at Lowe's?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands Associate and Labor Relations processes and systems including the ability to navigate, audit, build and facilitate presentations of relevant reporting and dashboards.
  • Leads a team responsible for all case data and trends for relevant stakeholders which consists of but is not limited to the following groups: Associate Relations, Labor Relations, and HRBPs.
  • Oversees the creation of Associate and Labor relations reporting and streamlining internal processes to better support the associate and leader experience.
  • Provides feedback on case management processes to senior leadership.
  • Monitors overall governance of the AR and LR data that is collected to improve total reporting and analytics that is provided to key stakeholders.
  • Partners with various business leaders to build strong partnerships and develop proactive positive associate relations strategies that drive business objectives.
  • Cultivates and maintains trusted and productive relationships with human resources, legal, business operations leaders, etc., across the company.
  • Continuously matures and refines process and workflow controls to help ensure the accuracy of outcomes and processes as it relates to business and system changes.
  • Establishes a proactive approach to mitigate compliance and governance around AR/LR/HR processes and implementing controls to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Communicates feedback, findings, and recommendations concisely to all levels of associates both verbally and in written form.
  • Creates and edits knowledge base articles clearly and concisely when applicable to process change.
  • Creates a climate of engagement and productivity by empowering others and encouraging them to contribute ideas and make decisions.
  • Develops a compelling vision and robust strategy for the Associate Relations that directly supports the company's business strategies by leveraging external best practices and tools.
  • Supports various projects as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years experience in an HR Generalist, Associate Relations or a related role conducting complaint investigations related to Federal, State, Local employment, and labor laws in an HR Generalist, Associate Relations or a related role conducting complaint investigations related to Federal, State, Local employment, and labor laws
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing structures and priorities while balancing multiple issues at one time
  • Experience in a fast paced and thriving environment, think critically/strategically, and being extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility
  • Able to work effectively at all areas within the organization
  • Excellent program facilitation skills

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $95,500.00 - $159,200.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
