What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Installer position at Lowen Corporation?
Summary/Objective: Installing sign posts and signs typical to the Real Estate Industry
Essential Functions

-Review assigned installation orders each morning
-Gather the necessary parts and supplies and execute the orders in a timely manner.
-Installations are performed at various locations each day throughout the Chicago area.
-Typical installation requires light lifting and the use of a few hand tools including the hammering of signpost anchors into the ground by a sledgehammer.
Competencies
-Must be diligent about accuracy and attention to detail.
-Must be able to plan efficient geographic routes for the assigned orders.
-Must be somewhat handy, average to above average mechanical aptitude a plus.
-Must have a valid Driver’s License and must pass an MVR.
-Must be able to work independently-with little direction
-Must be innovative-prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity.
-Must be adaptable/flexible-enjoying work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
-Must be dependable
Work Environment
-On the road, driving a company van
Physical Demands
-Lift and carry 25-50 Lbs.
- Must be able to climb, kneel, squat, bend, or reach overhead
-Must have manual dexterity
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work.
-This is a full time position.
-Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OT as needed.
Travel
This position requires traveling from one place to another every day.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Mechanical Knowledge of 1 year experience.
