What are the responsibilities and job description for the Propane Delivery Driver position at LP Propane?
LP Propane is currently seeking a Propane Delivery Driver. We are a local propane delivery company. We have been servicing customers in Southeastern Idaho since 1992. We service and install tanks ranging from 100 to 60,000 gallons. This position is responsible for order processing, customer service, front desk duties, and maintaining accounts receivables.
The Propane Delivery Driver will primarily be focused on:
- Follow Company safety standards and report issues.
- Complete pre/post trip inspections on transport vehicle and equipment.
- Understand all facets of propane systems.
- Load and unload propane from transport vehicle.
- Fill customer’s propane tanks.
- Ensure delivery route is completed efficiently.
- Act as customer service representative and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collect payments timely and appropriately.
- Respond to customer calls and ensure that customer concerns are resolved promptly and appropriately.
- Proper OOg procedure and documentation
- Obtain and maintain appropriate licensure including:
- Applicable State licenses
- NPGA certified
The preferred candidate for the Propane Delivery Driver will have the following:
- Two or more years’ experience in propane or fuel delivery or an associated industry.
- Possess a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement and have an acceptable driving record.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Able to learn company systems and processes.
- Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations.
- Able to learn delivery routes and strong direction acuity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
