What are the responsibilities and job description for the HRIS MANAGER position at lsuhsc?
Under the general guidance of the Assistant Director of HRIS & Talent/Organizational Development, the Human Resource Information Systems Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all information systems both internal and external that pertain to the human resource functions. This position will be responsible for assisting in executing our HRIS roadmap, overseeing HRIS projects, system configurations, and implementations. Successful execution of this role supports Human Resources while working closely with members of Information Technology, PeopleSoft Development and Support, Information Security and a variety of vendors for LSUHSC-NO. This position will function as the primary contact for creating queries that captures high-level data for short-term and long-term planning. This position will be responsible for meeting with the HR team and stakeholders to produce business process maps of current processes and identify ways to create efficiency while continuing to provide quality service to our campus. This position will oversee the activities of the Records Management Specialist and HRIS Specialist. This position will require strong communication, organization, project management, relationship building, and collaboration skills for success in this role.
