Job Description
- Day to Day SAP Basis support, managing transports, role changes, working with CSV on change management and any other SAP operational support needs.
- Extensive working experience in SAP Pharma with SoX & GxP
- Should administer and maintain SAP HANA database systems including installation configuration upgrades and patches
- Participate in planning and executing system upgrades migrations and system copies across different environments
- Provide technical support and resolve database related issues collaborating with internal teams and external vendors
- Develop and maintain documentation guidelines and procedures related to database administration tasks
- Stay updated with the latest SAP HANA technologies best practices and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
- Manage system upgrades patches and support package implementations for SOLMAN components
- Configure and maintain technical monitoring alerting and system diagnostics within SOLMAN
- Support the implementation and customization of Solution Manager functionalities like Change Request Management
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SOLMAN related issues working closely with SAP functional teams and other stakeholders
- Implement and maintain Solution Documentation Business Process Operations and Landscape Management functionalities within SOLMAN
- System Installation and Configuration Install configure and maintain SAP systems including ERP BW CRM and others ensuring proper settings and integration with other systems
- System Upgrades and Patch Management Plan and execute system upgrades support package installations and apply patches to keep systems up to date and secure
- Monitor and optimize database performance conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operation
- Backup and Recovery Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity
- System Copies and Refreshes Execute system copies refreshes and client copies as needed for development testing and training environments
- Interface and Integration Management Manage system interfaces and integrations with third party applications or other SAP systems.
