Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages multiple projects ranging from R&D to cGMP in all aspects of development including formulation, analytical, bioanalytical, physical characterization, and manufacturing
- Cultivates collaborative relationships with internal and external team members
- Proactively identifies and facilitates the resolution of potential risks to the critical path of projects
- Leads day-to-day operations of project team members including scheduling, communication, and billing
- Facilitates internal and client project meetings, including capturing meeting notes, etc.
- Develops project plans and manages effective execution of project tasks
- Prepares and negotiates quotes & addendums
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of a BS degree, preferably in a scientific field
- Previous educational or industrial experience in a scientific field, preferably including the management of projects
- Proficiency with common PC-based applications, including Microsoft Office
- Outstanding organization skills and time management skills
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical and business information, both oral and written to others, including co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, and clients
Considered a Plus
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Familiarity with cGMPs, GLP, and FDA/ICH guidelines and their application to drug development and release
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Experience creating Gantt charts
