ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?
This role follows a 7 am – 7 pm shift, three days a week. You oversee and guide the production team, actively seeking and implementing improvements in production techniques. You are responsible for ensuring the quality, weights, and measures of each product meet standards, and for the proper use of ingredients and finished goods. Duties include assisting in staff placement, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and facilitating the efficient flow of ingredients.
Essential skills include good planning, organizational, math, and English abilities, as well as knowledge of production processes, machinery, and product components. Proficiency in conflict resolution and teaching skills ensures a harmonious and productive work atmosphere while understanding regulatory requirements upholds quality standards. If you can do this and meet the following requirements, you might be a perfect fit!
- High school diploma
- Some managerial experience in the food industry
- Some college is preferred
